  • Comments: Another great race put on by Racing Underground. Well organized, well supported, safe, and fun. Great sponsors including Campus Cycles. Food from Noodles & Company was pretty good and service was quick. Lots of my friends participated including a contingency from the Arvada Triathlon Club.

  • Comments: Great race. Loved getting to do it a bit different. I ended up winning my agegroup by 2 minutes. Also won the swim, run, bike division so I won 2 of those aluminum water bottles. Great food, bennets BBQ. Felt good today.

  • Comments: A little cramped in the transition area, almost the perfect toughness to really challenge yourself over the entire course. Fun little race, perfect weather, perfect water temp for such a sunny day. I should have gone back for a cool down dip after the race. Good BBQ lunch. Nice supportive, fun, medium sized event. I think next year I want to end with the swim. Maybe run bike swim order. I am disappointing that they didn't look at all tri finishes together. They consider swim bike run a different race than the run bike swim. Run, my weakest sport, first when I am strongest, bike middle as usual, and swim when I am the hottest and can enjoy it a little more. Overall great fun with multiple two and three sport options.

  • Comments: I love that you can do the events in any order you want - good time! The weather was a bit cooler than average for this time of year which helped quite a bit. I think it could have been kinda tough if it were any warmer.

  • Comments: First of all, this race is about fun. You can pick the order of events or even cut one discipline from the mix (making it a Duathlon) – I picked the standard triathlon order. I learned an important lesson right away – bring bug spray. There were a lot of mosquitoes looking for breakfast in these early hours. The race is a lot of fun, as there are always people on the course. When you head out on the bike other competitors (with different orders) are coming back and so on. Special thanks to Racing Underground for putting on a great event (lots of raffles, great organization, etc.).

  • Comments: I don't understand why there was a water station at the entrance/exit of the transition for the run. I think it would have been much better if that was just after mile 1 and the second station was just around mile 2.2. Most of us have some kind of bottle or drink at our transition area already, so it's a wasted station at the exit of T2.

  • Comments: This is a fun race as you can do the events in any order (makes for some really creative Duathlons like SRS, etc that would also be great for a training day). The start/transition/finish is a bit different with just IN, OUT, and FINISH but it keeps things level. The Aurora Rez is an awesome place to swim being so calm and clean, Quincy is a challenging but fair place to bike, and the trail (while open) is reasonable to run on. Good small race for the more recreational triathlete/duathlete as well as the competitive type. Got a free pair of Crocs as part of our registration, so that isn't too bad, either.

  • Comments: This is a fun race. On the smaller side, which was a nice change after the Peak. Got coupons for free Crocs, which made this race a good value for the price. Definitely well-organized. Assigned bike racks in the transition area would have been nice - though we got there early enough to get good spots, lots of people later crammed themselves into our racks despite there being more space elsewhere. Someone said it was b/c they were told to move after they got set up (to make room for the challenged athlete(s)), so maybe that's an area of opportunity for the race director, but a little common sense and respect on the part of those who had to move would have been nice too.

  • Comments: This race is a lot of fun, well run, everyone who participated got a pair of Crocs. Plenty of food and drink after the race and its a great venue for specatators as people are constantly coming in and out.
