Comments: good run but I lost all my spare time when I went over the 59th street bridge. After that I stopped chasing my 3:15 goal. What would you do differently?: I urinated and then went again just before th start, this caused me to run on a empty bladder - end result was that my first pee was red from blood. Post race

Breakfast, cereal with juice, banana, then before race, bagel with peanut butter, banana and coconut water. Took the subway and then the ferry, this is still the best option, due to the new wave start it was not crowded at all.
I was relaxing till about 9:20 then went to line up, Wave one had already gone to the start of the bridge - panic! I ran to the front of Wave 2 and some very kind marshal let me join Wave 1. So I started right at the end of that Wave.
