  • 10m 2s
  • 383 yards
  • 02m 37s / 100 yards
Comments:

Well organized
Big difference between swimming 25M laps and 50M laps
What would you do differently?:

Need to improve straight line swimming range without breaks
Need to develop ability to turn underwater for pool swims
Transition 1
  • 03m 52s
Comments:

First race so I was not too focused on the time I took to get in and out of the bike area.
What would you do differently?:

Need to pratice a bit more for this and have HR monitor strap on in the pool.
Bike
  • 51m 44s
  • 12 miles
  • 13.92 mile/hr
Comments:

The hills in the middle really wore me out. I did not train on the bike before this race. I did the course in the time I had thought I would.
What would you do differently?:

Need to get a road bike. Hybrid was not able to keep up the pace.
Transition 2
  • 01m 7s
Comments:

This transition went well.
What would you do differently?:

Not too much right now.
Run
  • 35m 33s
  • 3.1 miles
  • 11m 28s  min/mile
Comments:

Vols everywhere encouraging you!
Great job.
I did finish in the amount of time I thought it would take me.

What would you do differently?:

Need to train for longer distances. 3 Miles was my training distance and so I did not have much left, even less after the bike.
Post race
Warm down:

Seeing my kids at the finish line was a big boost!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Just need more training.

Event comments:

This was my frist triathlon and it was put together well!
plenty of support and made the first one easy to follow and not get lost!
Thanks to Playtri for everything!
