Comments:

I lined up way too far in the back, I spent most of the first mile weaving in and out of people. It didn't really clear out until about mile 3 and then everyone around me was running approximately the same pace. I saw someone walking about a quarter mile before the finish, who quits running and starts walking then? He didn't appear to be in any sort of pain, very strange.
What would you do differently?:

I need to learn to line up near the front. I think I left a little bit out there on the course. I could have run it maybe 30-60 seconds faster. I was running with a woman from mile 2 to mile 5, she turned on the jets when we hit the mile marker, I should have tried to keep up.

Course: Ran around a portion of White Rock Lake. We had to run up a few of the quasi-hills that they have out there. nothing too tough, I cruised up them without a problem. I run steeper stuff around the neighborhood here.
