Heinous half marathon time. Got greedy and started pace too fast. Paid for it on the last half of the run.
What would you do differently?:

Slow the initial pace/run negative split. Add more run training. Shin splint limited run mileage the two months prior to the race.

Lack of hill training/too fast initial pace on the run.

Event comments:

Military challenge hospitality tent was fantastic! The Army representation from Fort Leavenworth was great.
