Transition 1
Comments: Excellent T1. Terrible rocky surface to run on with bike What would you do differently?: nothing Bike
Comments: very pleased with my bike. First time I averaged over 20 mph Transition 2
Comments: Made the final turn under a bridge and the transition was pretty much right there. Then out of the shoes it was too late to pull the feet What would you do differently?: Get out of my shoes and jump off the bike Run
Comments: Better time than I expected. I did not think I was doing very well. I trashed my legs on the ride, but fought through it. This was my best run time out of the 3 races I have done this year so I am real happy with that. Post race
Warm down: Eat, Hydrate, Stretch What limited your ability to perform faster: My swim, T2, and tired legs on the run Event comments: I signed up for the olympic but something happened with my registration. I didn't know I was doing the sprint until I got to packet pick-up. I was furious and they wouldn't do anything to change it. By this morning I was over it and able to focus on the race. I don't know what happened with my swim but it was absolutely terrible. PR's in the ride and run as far as avg. pace so I was pleased with that effort Last updated: 2008-10-05 12:00 AM
