I had a good swim, although at the turn at halfway, I was blinded by the sun and had trouble navigating. After a fari amount of jostling and full body contact, I swam smooth and steady and finished with a good time. My fastest swim in 3 races here at Oceanside

Event comments:

I bested my time from last year by over 7 minutes...I had an excellent race, and feel I raced to my potential. I dedicated this race to my mom Janet Davidson, who I found out died the day before this race. My motivation was high, as I competed with my dearest mothers spirit and my loving thoughts of this wonderful lady.
