Swim
Comments: Swim was nuts with tough chop. I couldn't get a comfortable breathing pattern, which made the bike a higher heart rate than I wanted! It was shallow in a lot of it though, so that made it a little less of a nightmare. Funny enough, my bilateral breathing habit hurt me, because I've made it such a habit to breath to both sides, I breathed in water a couple times. What would you do differently?: Be more calm and relaxed. Si Transition 1
Comments: Took my time, I didn't think I'd be breaking any records soon, and could feel my heart rate was pretty high. What would you do differently?: Have every thing more ready than what I had ready at the time (have shoes more slip on friendly, have CO2 cartridges, inflator on my wing already, etc... Bike
Comments: I had an AWESOME bike. My second fastest bike split for my 6 races I've done so far. 22.1 mph average!!! I wonder how I woulda done without all the road blocks in my way this year. What would you do differently?: Nothing!!!!! Transition 2
Comments: Took my time again, only because I knew I wouldn't be breaking any PRs. What would you do differently?: Have laces on shoes more ready... and focus more on the task at hand (not be lazy) Run
Comments: Couldn't run all of it due to pulled hip abductor. But I did have a nice strong finish, pain and all! Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Pulled hip abductor, sprained wrist Event comments: Very fun, I'd do it again if it weren't for the fact that I live 5 hours away. Last updated: 2008-10-29 12:00 AM

Ate a bagel and banana for breakfast. Unloaded in the porta potties at the race site.
Got out in the lake to test the waters, took a few strokes, then it was time to turn around for the national anthem.
