Comments: Good run for me, I could have probably pushed a little harder but I wasn't in training for this so I didn't know what pace was reasonable. What would you do differently?: Run a few 5 mile runs to get a better sense of pacing prior to the race. Post race
Warm down: Stretched and walked to the post-race activities... What limited your ability to perform faster: Not doing any training specifically for this race...I was in off-season base and endurance building mode so short/fast runs weren't a part of the diet. Event comments: The start was a bit disorganized and the kids fun run was chaos. Overall a good race once it got started and there was some good crowd support near the start...once you got away from that area it was sparse or non-existent.
