Pre-race routine:

The start was only a 6 mile drive from our house so Scott and I got up around 6:30am this morning as we were planning to leave around 7am. Unfortunately we both were not feeling 'unmotivated' but we managed to get dressed and tried to get motivated. I had some coffee, a cup of cereal and half a peanutbutter 'Clif' on the way to the race. Once we got there we grabbed our race chips, stopped and chatted with a few folks and then headed over to the starting line.
Event warmup:

No warm up...we spent about 10-15 mins standing in line for the "Port-a-Johns"

Comments:

Good run for me...I just kept telling myself "treat this like a training run" which I think kept me from feeling too much pressure. I wanted to beat my PR but I wasn't sure I had it in me today...somehow I managed to do it!
What would you do differently?:

Nothing...well...maybe try to be more motivated.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked over to the finish shoot to cheer on Scott!

Event comments:

This a good race...and I love that it is pretty much in my backyard!
