Pre-race routine:

Sugar free Red Bull, banana, whole wheat bagel with peanut butter.
Event warmup:

The race is a pool swim so its similar to a time trial start. I waited for 1.5 hours to start after the transition area closed- didn't think a warmup swim was appropriate that far ahead.

Pool swim- was seeded too far back- was really hard to pass people. I must have passed at least 10 people. VERY frustrating:(

Lie about my 100 meter time, like everyone else and start earlier.

I didnt wear my Garmin so I was running blind. Also, since it is a TT start, its hard to gage how you are doing in comparison with others in your a/g. I actually thought my run kind of sucked, but I am pretty happy with the time considering my fitness level.
What would you do differently?:

I usually concentrate on running the shortest distance when I am racing- running strait lines, but I wasnt doing too well concentrating on that. Did OK anyway.
