Went off course a bit, but no biggie. Felt ok, still need a lot of work on my swim!

What would you do differently?:

Show up earlier so my transition area will be better prepared. Was late and therefore rushed to set up and get out of the transition area. Oh well.

Ran out of time setting up transition and my drink system was not attaching so I just used my mixed bottle of Perpetuem in the cage on my bottom tube and took the water from the aid stations and held it in my left hand the whole time. Not ideal but not as bad as I was expecting starting out.
What would you do differently?:

Prepare my bike better. The day before!

Not bad. New Zoot running shoes worked well. They are light and go on fast. Great combo.
What would you do differently?:

Slip out of shoes while riding so I can save some time there.

Eat more before the run. I was hungry but when I tried to eat during the run it was too late. Nothing was going to stay down. I should have eaten some on the bike.

Walked 1.5 miles with all my gear to the car. Does that count?

Event comments:

I would rank the race higher if not for the run course. And as to the drink stations, there were probably enough but one more on the bike course would have been nice too.
