Comments:

The water felt like the pool! I was surprised at the # of people that wore wetsuits, I think I would have overheated. But I did use earplugs and a warm cap. I got a deep hip cramp on the long leg back to the start, but it didn't effect me too much and let up enough to sprint around the drain (ick!) and to the finish.
What would you do differently?:

Eat a bananna before the race like I usually do! I would have warmed up, but I got stuck in the line for the bathroom and thought I only had a couple min. to get ready before the start.
Post race
Warm down:

Watched for my sis and team mates to come in, streched out my hip a bit.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

maybe the clinic the day before, I got a little sunburn and couldn't sleep too well the night before.

Event comments:

They really need to get more port-a-lets, the lines were at least 15 min. long!
