I felt good. I think I took it easy because I didn't want to burn out early. I could have given it more. I stayed on course fairly well but I could have shaved a little time by cutting the turn tighter

I felt like I did better than I did. I felt really strong on the bike and was disappointed with my time.
What would you do differently?:

I'm not sure why I'm so slow this year. I need more miles. I need to get some country roads where I can time trail a little

really crappy run. I had a side stitch most of the way that I couldn't shake- that started the negative self talk and the doubt which started the desire to give in and walk the rest of the way. I made myself run but it was hard. and slow. I felt like a ton of bricks. I hated getting passed by so many girls that I was ahead of for so long!
What would you do differently?:

??? I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong. I just can't get the strength on the run to be faster.

Event comments:

I'm always dissapointed when there's no medal. I love a medal to say I finished! I wish there were more spectators cheering us on. I wish the lady standing at the hill wouldn't have told me it was flat the rest of the way. C'est la vie.

Course: a few tight turns but not as bad as I was expecting. I got stuck both times in the hairpin behind slowpokes and couldn't get around an keep my cadence up. a few long but slow hills that were kind of sneaky
