Comments: ... it was a battle royal.. i started catching people at the 150m mark.. it when down hill after that.. swimmers didn't stay straight.. weaving. pace and rhythm were off after catching people What would you do differently?: i have know clue Transition 1
Comments: mounting the bike was ok.. could always do better. What would you do differently?: i couldn't train... i was sick.. prior to running this race.. Bike
Comments: didn't get myself together until mile 5.. i opened up pretty good once, i got breathing under control, and leg power.. What would you do differently?: train more. Transition 2
Comments: i wasted some time.. here.. i racked bike and ran to outside of rack.. valuable seconds lost What would you do differently?: rack a little differently next time Run
Comments: cramps, cramps, cramps... ohh my calves.. had to stop to massage out the cramps.. i guess i didn't hydrate well What would you do differently?: hydrate more Post race
Warm down: walked around... finished off all my water and gatorade bottles... was offered a bud light.. i couldn't refuse.. felt better.. ate some chow. What limited your ability to perform faster: sick with flu, the week before.. no training... i was about 75% better. not really strong for race Event comments: i think the water station was a little to far away.. it was at the turnaround. stretch the shoulders and legs, massage the IT band..
