Pre-race routine:

relaxed, ate some yogurt and cereal... a banana later on

... it was a battle royal.. i started catching people at the 150m mark.. it when down hill after that.. swimmers didn't stay straight.. weaving. pace and rhythm were off after catching people

i couldn't train... i was sick.. prior to running this race..

cramps, cramps, cramps... ohh my calves.. had to stop to massage out the cramps.. i guess i didn't hydrate well

Post race
Warm down:

walked around... finished off all my water and gatorade bottles... was offered a bud light.. i couldn't refuse.. felt better.. ate some chow.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

sick with flu, the week before.. no training... i was about 75% better. not really strong for race

Event comments:

i think the water station was a little to far away.. it was at the turnaround.
