Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 4am and left house at ~4:30. Coffee, cereal in a cup and banana on the drive over. Travel time to Moss Park was ~1.5 hrs.

All age group males in wave so there was a lot of bumping at the start but it quickly opened up. Practice sprinting and then settling into a comfortable pace.

Warm down:

Talked with Scott K, he killed it with a time of 1:13:46. His 40-44 age group is competive and this time put him in 8th place in category.

Event comments:

First race in 45-49 AG, very happy with results considering there wasn't much of a taper. This age group (45-49) was not real competive but I'm still extremly happy to take home my first piece of tri hardware with the 3rd place in category.
