Comments:

Good swim. No real changes the boyes were on my right the whold time perfect for me because I breath out the right only. No problems except people stopping and standing up and I had to and now have a small cut on my foot.
What would you do differently?:

No changes felt goood about the swim.

Comments:

Alot slower than I expected but good. I need to move faster I need to keep T1 under 1:15.

Not sure. Just need to go faster.
Bike
  • 40m 37s
  • 13 miles
  • 19.20 mile/hr
Comments:

Good course. A few hills but not bad. I need to do some hill work but not enough hills in toledo. Bike went well never passed by anyone in my age group. I need to get faster though. Left hamstring still hurts when I push the bike hard. I need to get this fixed. The pain is the same as the Tawas race last year. It has to be a bike fit problem. I tried to move my seat forward and that seem to help. I may be a little to stretched out in the areo postion.
What would you do differently?:

I have got to fix the Hanmstring problem is the only way I am going to get faster.
Transition 2
  • 01m
Comments:

No problems in and out in 1:00
What would you do differently?:

Nothing.
Run
  • 22m 45s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 07m 19s  min/mile
Comments:

Good run. Kept the pace good no complaints. mile 2 was 7:19 mile 3 was 6:57. I wanted to do a negative split. The course was good out and back
What would you do differently?:

Go a little harder on the first half I neeed to get the time under 7:00 min mile to get in the top 3 in AG.
Post race
Warm down:

Found family and hung out and wated for other people to finish.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not enought speed work I have spent all winter working toward the 1/2 Ironman.

Event comments:

Good early season race. I thought it was well organized. Good race
