Pre-race routine:

Got lost getting there, was late for packet pickup, was getting bike checked in while they announce that the transition area was closing... didn't have time to do anything- didn't reset my computer, adjust my aerohelmet to get it on easier... at that point I wished I hadn't gotten out of bed.

For the most part, I felt great on the bike. There were some parts I was flying (with a tail wind of course). Hills are not my friend- living in VA Beach doesn't make that much better. I couldnt get into the big chain ring the first 10 or so miles- not sure how far I had gone because I forgot to reset my computer in transtion.

I was really pleased with my cycling today.
What would you do differently?:

Ride the bike more- maybe next winter I wont be so burned out

This was painful. I went really hard on the bike, on purpose, so I didnt have a lot left for this run. The hills just about killed me but I did pretty good considering.

Total lack of fitness and training.

I am very pleased with how I did. I went into this race expecting to do awful. I haven't been riding much all winter and just started doing some run training. I was especially pleased with my cycling today- I think with a couple months of training, this is going to be a good year:)
