Pre-race routine:

Woke 5am at hotel. Had 3 mini bagels and a Banana. Dressed and met in lobby.. Left for 10 mile drive.
Event warmup:

Swam in wet suit for 5 minutes, talked and met racers.

Warm down:

stretched 5 minutes, not enough.. Got in car and drove 6 hrs, not the best plan, sore the next day.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Hills on bike and liquid

Event comments:

Small race group ,on a big venue area. Not enough support. One hill extremely dangerous. Ride was on open Traffic roads. I would do race again.

Course: Very car congested hilly course. Not to much traffic control. Felt good, attacked hills, long climbs felt good, big gears. The steep inclines got me. 40 miles per hour down hill. Aero whole race except one hill.
