  • Comments: It was rainy so I guess many people didn't show up. 3500 registered but only 3000 raced. Crowds were a bit sparse, but much appreciated.

  • Comments: My best friend and I growing up in the 70's loved the Montreal Olympics and when Adidas track suits showed up in the stores we were all over it. We jogged like the athletes and pretended to "train". I moved away a year or so later and although we visited as kids from time to time, eventually we drifted apart. After college we reconnected again and went to each other's weddings. Michael ran a few marathons and it was inspiring to hear about them. I never really had the interest to train for one however. Well, I reported my race to Michael today and he sounds excited to go race something like the NY Marathon together. We'll have to get track suits again!

  • Comments: It is a beautiful race but there weren't many spectators as a whole. I had great support, but in between it was QUIET!! I'd love to hear more music! :) The chip system didn't work so that was disappointing. Therefore, we dont' have official results. Oh well. I know my time!
