  • Comments: This year was much better than last year. The volunteers were great! They were very motivational and very helpful. Food throughout the race was great and the food after was Awesome. It is cool to see volunteers wearing Western States Belt Buckles and have Badwater tattoos... they had some hardcore people out there.. The 24 / 48 racers got Ultracentric Race Mugs, hooded sweatshirts, and personalized granite plaques, lazer engraved with our names and distances...very cool.. PICS A couple of weeks later, I hung out with some cool BT'rs and did Sunmart 50k Trail Run. That RR is coming up soon! ;)

  • Comments: Overall, the people that ran this race were very nice and helpful. It was a great learning experience for me. I will be doing this event again. The only half way negative comment I have about the race, was the track itself. It was much different than what I expected from the discription on the website. This was my first event of this type, so I do not have much to compare it to. But, I did hear others (that have done many of these) complain. Overall...I loved the event and will be back.
