  • Comments: My first half marathon so I cannot compare it to anything, but i thought it was well organized and well supported. It made you feel like a big time runner at the finish line. Awesome event, I plan to do it in years to follow.

  • Comments: This is a good race, I just didn't run well. Not the race's fault, it's a great race and I highly recommend it. We didn't stick around for post-race activities but I hear the concert and all that is very good.

  • Comments: I kid you not.....Fargo Marathon is one of the best organized races. The whole town is very friendly and there are tons of people the entire course cheering. Of all the races i have done (mostly in California), the Fargo Marathon is the best. The people are what make it enjoyable. Also if you want to qualify for Boston, come here. It is a nice flat course.

  • Comments: Overall, this was a well-run race. They did well with labeling a course where the marathon and half marathon split and met up three times (I think). This is Fargo, so all of the volunteers were friendly and happy. The finish in the Fargodome is fun - gotta love a jumbotron finish. But...the indoor finish led to some space issues with getting bags and food, because everyone got stuck in the finishing chute. There was a huge logjam at the bag retrieval area. You basically had to pick up your bag right away after finishing or risk even bigger crowds as the marathoners piled in. I was stuck in line for over 20 minutes before getting any nutrition. Thankfully they had water right there, so I could hydrate. Everybody was being a good sport, though, which was nice.
