  • Plenty of drink stations?Yes

  • Post race activities?
  • Overall course based on my ability: Just right

  • Comments: I would definitely do this one again as an annual litmus. I would have done better had I done the series (Tri for Fun/Tri for Real), but in all it was a perfectly-suited first tri!

  • Comments: Maybe this is true for all races, but mile markers on a sprint run would be helpful (could've been alleviated had I brought my headphones and listened to my phone or save up for a garmin)

  • Comments: On Your Mark Events puts on a good event. It's well organized with lots of volunteers. The course is well monitored and marked. There's more than enough food and drink after the race. The energy level is fantastic.

  • Comments: This is my last Triathlon of 2010. Thank you all for your support. Thank you Dave for sacrificing a Sunday morning glad you could make it. Thank you Gina for sacrificing many Sunday mornings and countless other things so I can pursue this crazy sport. Your the best. I love you. I have been very fortunate this year. No injuries, no major F.U.'s. I have learned so much about this sport in the last two years. I am looking for BIG things next year. By the way I will be running my first marathon Oct 31 at the Silicone Valley International.

  • Comments: Good race for beginners. The organization was a bit loose, and it showed when competitors were skipping out on portions of the bike race. The race started late, and the post race festivities were kind of bland. And no timing chip meant no timing each leg of the race (only overall time) But the course and weather was beautiful, the volunteers were very helpful, the bike route was staged VERY well, and I did enjoy the challenge. It was a good warmup for my oly race this saturday!

  • Comments: Its the tri-for-real, but really its still fun. Feels just like the tri-for-fun since the clock was only at the finish line and no splits taken. This is a great race for newbies and I enjoyed it.

  • Comments: Was a well organized race though I think a bit more info. on the various legs of the race would be helpful. IMHO , the run leg was just the most wierd setup but maybe some of the smaller TRI's are like this.
