• Comments: Coming into the race, I wasn't even sure if I could help my friend do a 1:37 pace, but I was going to try my darndest to get there. Except for 3 hard miles to finish, I was surprised at how easy the run felt. I thought the weather was also perfect with a little bit of a breeze. I think the one thing I'll take away from this race is the distance miscalculations I had in the park, and the seemingly severe uphill finish.
