Comments: Because there was no warm-down I immediately went to the Beer line which was quite long. For whatever reason I skipped the salmon chowder from McCormick and Schick’s. I went with the Guinness Stout which was a fair choice. There was an Irish band on the main stage that played two Drop Kick Murphy songs that I recognized. People were everywhere. While I was making my way thru the beer line there were 10,000 runners on the 5K course. I waited for Marcia, Peggy and Lisa at the designated place. The ladies were too wet and cold to want to do much so we went back to my office changed closed then went out to breakfast. All the big west-side breakfast hot spots were full. Looking back my only issue was my knee being injured. The weather is what I would expect for a March race.
