• Comments: This year they had the beginning of the race pointing the opposite way. That worked pretty well. Also, they staged it out of the convention center which was great. We could be inside until right before the start, mostly plenty of restrooms, lots of room for seats and tables, room for food. They should have had a better results table though. It was pretty much only two people at a time to look. With over 600 entrants, it was hard to get close. Also, the timing chips were disposable. Not sure how I feel about that.

• Comments: Making progress, fairly pleased with time -- 6/53 in age group. Cut 9 minutes off 1/2 marathon from Jan. '08 1/2 marathon at Vancouver Lake

• Comments: They had plenty of drink stations, portapotties, etc. It was chilly, so it was nice to wait for the beginning of the race inside the convention center. The post-race food was good too. We didn't stay for the post race activities, but I think there was raffle prizes, and music.
