• Comments: Good race with great help ... I will come back again next year. I met Spot, (another BTer!) just before the swim which was cool! He did a great job with a 1:07!!

• Comments: Nice race. Short course which is what I needed. Wilmington will be a little longer on the swim and bike. Then Pinehurst, then B2B half. This was a good confidence builder for Pinehurst. Of course, it still kills me that I can do this well on a personal level (and the overall) and only be 6 out of 14 in my age group. This age group is just crazy.

• Comments: I don't have too much to compare it to, but this was a great first race in that it was small enough to not be overwhelming. It was missing some of the benefits of a larger race like water stops and more police directing traffic, but overall it was fun and a great start.
