  • Comments: One of the better rides I've been on. The rest stations competed against each other and they fed everyone hamburgers afterwards!!

  • Comments: My 2nd charity ride ever. It went much better than my first. I am writing this much later (just like my first ride report) b/c I didn't know how to do this at the time. It was cold and at the time I had no cold weather gear. Wore bike shorts, a long sleeve t-shirt, and short sleeve t-shirt on top. I was cold. I am from Aledo so it was nice to go back and get to ride in my home town. I didn't remember the area being as hilly as it was and most of the roads were pretty rough (but I knew that part!). It was my longest ride to date...27mi was my previous best. This one was 40mi. Going to do it again in 2009 and do a longer distance. It was very enjoyable and there was excellent food afterwards!

  • Comments: This was such a nice bike rally. It had a great small town feel to it. The aid stations were wonderful and so were the volunteers. The firemen were there and cooked for everyone afterwards. Having it at the High School stadium (a very nice one at that!) was neat. The route was challenging, but beautiful. I will go back next year.

  • Comments: This wasn't a race, but a fun ride. We turned it into a family event as our 8 y.o. daughter rode all 20 (her idea to push for it), while I towed the 5 y.o. on the trail-a-bike with the 1 y.o. in the Burley trailer behind her. We were quite the train.
