Comments: I thought the venue was perfect for a sprint tri and only about 10 miles north of Chattanooga. The course was probably the hardest I have ever done for a sprint. The terrain made it plenty challenging.
The race was very low key and not as organized as most of the larger productions that I am accustom to. The run course needed a bit more direction as it had tons of technical turns. Overall, I enjoyed myself and would gladly go back
Comments: Well, I am happy that Andrew made me do this race! I may have gone for the rest of my life without doing another triathlon but now the spark has been reignited.
BUT....I don't want to do more than sprints. Because I don't want to triathlon train. I like kettlebells and HIIT and I don't want to stop. I am happy enough with my performance that I can enjoy racing at that level and not feel like it's a waste, if that makes sense. I may start doing some bike and run tabatas but that will be the extent of my "traithlon" training until I get bored and want to do something else.
