Comments: Nice race and a very strong field of competitors. Wish they would better identify teams versus individuals. It is an easy course in that it is flat and straight. It was hard because of cold, wet and some wind. The road was a bit rough but I plan on doing this each year.

Comments: Every racer will have a bad one sometime, and today it was my turn. It was a good learning experience and I got some good takeaways on this, and have some things to work on with bike gear and my run pacing. The bike was real disappoiment but the biggest disappointment in myself was the run times, especially the first one before things went south - last year's first run pace was 7:11, the only positive thing about these runs is that I didn't feel like I was pushing as hard to keep the pace, so knowing that I need to push past to that uncomfortable level will get me much closer to my 7:00 split goal - the HR data also shows that I didn't push as hard as I could have, the HR data was in the 170s and for pushing my goal pace should be right around my max HR 184 or so AA volunteers like last year's lost timing chip were very helpful and supportive with holding my bike while changing it, also thanks to the other racer who gave me CO2, and was sorry to hear that her bike was DOA on the cou
