  • Comments: Got a PR, since it was my first HM. This really is a great race with a lot of cheering supporters and a beautiful course. Also, it was great to have pace groups, since I usually start out way too fast and pay the price later in the run.

  • Comments: This is my 3rd Carlsbad 1/2 marathon. I like the wave starts. They really help with the congestion at the start, especially with that little up and over to get over the freeway. The bands were really great this year, too! Volunteers are always plentiful and friendly. Good race, well done!

  • Comments: Nice course, not too crowded, would definitely run this race again. Plenty of volunteers and the bands sounded good. It was very scenic and the medals and tech shirt are pretty cool too!

  • Comments: Although I did not hit my goal time, I was extremely happy with the race. I felt great at the beginning of the race and felt I did everything correctly besides having the 5-hour energy.
