  • Comments: I thought that this race was extremely challenging and I'm glad I did it. I am very interested in competing in it again next year.

  • Comments: I don't mean to rate this race so low and bash it, because I really liked doing this race. It's just that with this level of competition, we need a more organized swim start, and some freakin' timing chips. I'm not really even sure my time was as good as they said it was. That being said, I'll be back next year to have my revenge on the Summer Sizzler.

  • Comments: This is the best race that I have done. Granted, a new PR on the bike, and I felt comfortable the entire race. I also had the most fun doing this race. I will definitely be doing this race again. What a great time!! Try-a-Tri was selling shirts so I bought one that is solid black and says "There is nothing more painful than regret" on the back. This race was a huge confidence builder for the Beast of the East Half-Ironman race on 9/20. Time to train! Thanks to all the volunteers!! Thank you for the water, thank you for the directions, thank you for a wonderful race!!
