  • Comments: I would do the event again just because I think it is good practice for a OLY, HIM or IM event. They were only 10 minutes late starting. There is a 1 mile or 2 mile distance. I do not know the total number of participants but an estimate would be 200. They started the 2 mile event first then 10 minutes later started the 1 mile. You swim the same course but the 2 milers swim it twice. I just wish they had someone with a mic or blowhorn telling instructions because they were hard to hear. Wet suits are optional.
