  • Comments: It wasn't an easy bike, but heck, it's Worlds. I thought on checking out the run route initially that it was too convoluted, but it was interesting during the actual race, and there were lots of cheerful volunteers. The only complaint were the Snagajob.com party stops, where loud music and fans with noise makers were inspirational only in that you wanted to really push it to get out of range of the obnoious sound. Overall, great race.

  • Comments: It was fun being part of Team USA. I don't know if I'll ever get the chance again, so I decided to take advantage of it. There were some really amazing athletes there, as well as a lot of very sexy bikes! It was a great experience being part of the Parade of Nations and being around people who had come from all over the world to do this race. All the athletes that I met were very friendly and very motivated; very inspirational.

  • Comments: There's something special about representing your country as an athlete. This whole weekend was an amazing experience. I can only hope to qualify and have the opportunity to do this again...maybe next time it will be overseas (which would require a little more planning). This whole race was on a different level than anything I've done before.
