  • Comments: It would be nice if there were mats to clock the laps better. Perhaps there were and I didn't see them, but several people had unusual bike splits and obviously missed the course. I also think this is one race that should be USAT since clubs can't get points unless the race qualifies. This would probably bring more clubs down and discourage them from going to other venues.

  • Comments: I would have loved to pick up my AG award but two plus hours after I finished there was no sign of the awards being handed out. I needed to get home to contribute to family activities so I had to bug out. I wish that they would do the awards a little more expediantly but there are different philosophies on this. Not worth the $10 I would have to pay to have it shipped to me, but I would have liked to have it :)

  • Comments: Aside from the swim this was a pretty good race for me. My goal on the bike was to pace myself better than I had at Steelhead and I accomplished that.

  • Comments: Pretty decent race. Not sure if it was just the rain or the combination of rain and traffic, but the bike course made me a bit nervous. Post race food was awesome. There were lots of volunteers out on the course.

  • Comments: Great location for a race would be made even better if they could close the roads to traffic, if not all then White Lake Rd at a minimum, which would make avoiding a draft and passing much better, not to mention safer. They mentioned they had catered food, which looked like something you'd see at a wedding buffet, the lines were long. I think I saw 10 spectators for every one racer in line. Didn't bother waiting. I think the Pita sandwiches the week before at Novi would've been much better. I was surprised by the fact that the mens 40-44 was the largest age group in the Oly.
