  • Comments: Race was well organized. Classic race did a good job as usual. This was a Grand Rapids Public Schools race, though, and they didn't seem to have any volunteers. They had no drink station, very few distance markings on the course (Just the 1 mile mark), they ran out of water bottles after the race, there was no swag bag, and the race was started very unceremoniously. No "thanks for coming out". No, "have a great run". Some guy just whistled and pointed at the starting line...2 minutes later a gun went off and the race started.
