  • Comments: Steve Boone puts on a great event. This is my fifth time participating with at least as many times volunteering at an aid station.

  • Comments: Good race, small only 190 participants in full. Difficult at times to navigate around slower runners and cross traffic athletes.

  • Comments: Run the TX Marathon if you like mom and pop type races. Great atmosphere, vistas, and finishers medal. Don't go if you want big race hype, lots of stuff in the goodie bag or a wide open road, etc. Great training event and a monster 3# finisher medal

  • Comments: Big thanks to My family for coming out to sit in the cold and cheer me in and give me the big green new year’s hat. Patti for putting up with my long hours training Richard for driving home so I could recover Jen for running the end with me and the runner’s car. And Joe and Bonnie for being my BT marathon buddies. After I finished the finish area was too crowded with little kids dogs and bikes many of the finishers had to dodge and weave their way in

  • Comments: This was a fun race, very different from Houston, small and friendly. I enjoyed it in a very different way. I'm not sure whether I'll do this one next year or Houston. The lack of crowds was nice:)
