  • Comments: The backdrop of Lake Powell made this course unbelievably beautiful. The weather was absolutely perfect. Once I got past the swim, I really enjoyed this race. I am glad I pulled myself together and finished the race -- good one for experience going forward. I plan to race this one again next year. Downside was that the race was not well organized and the goodie bag was one of the weakest ever.

  • Comments: My first OLY. Felt good. I took time to rest during the transitions, so that cost me 3-4 minutes, but the bottom line is that my swim and runs are slow. Lots of room for improvement!
