  • Comments: Good race as always from what I've heard. They did change the route the morning off and eliminate an aid station, but it didn't really matter. Fun finish inside the stadium.

  • Comments: It's a great race as long as you're prepared for the hills, which I was! I loved finishing and starting at the stadium, and the course is beautiful. You stay in downtown and the time of the year is perfect. It wasn't expensive, and the shirt's nice, too.

  • Comments: The best part is the finish in the Drive (minor league baseball team) stadium. You enter in right field, run the fence and down 3rd base line, crossing the tape at home plate. The home plate shaped finishers medal was nicely done.

  • Comments: I've heard complaints about the organization about previous races and it sounds like they have the same problems. In the local paper they were very proud of the run and expected to get an A across the board in regards to it's organization. I heard they ran out of t-shirts. I know they ran out of subs after the 1/2 marathon-before the first marathoner crossed the line. Perhaps they put more out later but I did not hang around long enough to see. They did have bagels and bananas.

  • Comments: This race was not well organized. From packet pick up to finish I was very disappointed. First of all, they ran out of t-shirts, even for those who preregistered. Then, a group of people who registered online (I was one of those)didn't have their info transferred to pick up. So I had a number with a hand written name, no t-shirt, and was told my t-shirt would be in in a month and I could drive to one of the running stores to pick it up. And it's not even long sleeve! Then, on race morning, no one talked before the race started. We were all there at the starting line and no announcement was made. The gun just went off. Took a lot of people by surprise. Many didn't even have their sweats off yet. The aid stations were plentiful but were ill placed. We would go over 2 miles with nothing and then in the next 2 mile segment there would be 4 stations.I think I will be writing a letter..
