  • Comments: This was my first half marathon. My sister and several friends signed up as well and it was their first too. It was fun to share the experience with others, including my constant canine running partner, Sula. I had no idea what to expect and had hoped to break 2 hours. I was happy with the whole experience and look forward to more half marathons to come!

  • Comments: This is a bare bones local race, so there isn't much in the way of activities. There are only 2 aid staions on the course, but for only $10 registration fee you really can't complain. The Cheetah Herders, who organize this race, are a fun bunch of people and do a great job of putting this event together each year.

  • Comments: This is a very scenic race and a lot of fun, I beat my time from last year by 16 minutes.I will do this again next year.

  • Comments: This is a pretty bare bones race, but for only a $10 entry fee can't complain. There were drink stations at mile 6 and 10 with gatorade and water. A free can of juice after the race was the only post race activities. Race shirt was a really cool design with course map on the back, but they put it on baby pink long sleeve shirt. My DH wasn't too thrilled with color, but did still pick up his shirt :)
