  • Comments: This was one of the most grueling and frightening experiences I have ever endured. Not because of the distance, mind you, but because of the combination distance, weather, lack of participation, and course. I was out in the middle of the desert in winter, alone, at night, in litterally freezing weather. Just me and my bike. It was something I won't soon forget, but it was something I'll never do again...until next time.
