  • Comments: I love this race... field is not huge and it's just a great event. I was 4 minutes slower than last year and it was all on the bike. I'd been sick and also doing the longer ride might have hurt. Although not entirely happy with the time, the effort was there and cannot be to upset. It's great racing with my wife and she really enjoyed this year more than her other tri's so we'll be back. Up next, 2 weeks until Steelhead!

  • Comments: I had a blast. The whole race was fun, and the post-race high was incredible. The conditions were just perfect--even during the run I was enjoying how comfortable it was. I felt like it was a very smart race for me. I met my main goals which were to feel good through the entire swim and average over 20mph on the bike. Now I have a better feel for how hard I can go during future swims, and triathlon run segments. It's interesting how my rank improves dramatically with each segment (310, 101, 56)

  • Comments: This is a well-run event. The volunteer took good care of us, the technical aspects were set up well, and the photography available later was excellent. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a sprint or duathlon next year!

  • Comments: great race with a fantastic course. the mile markers on the course were way off and the official timing didn't mesh with the calculated paces according to published distances or my bike computer. this is a notoriously competitive race and i love it!
