  • Comments: Overall this was a great local race. Can't beat living 5 minutes from the swim start. The race was organized well and the atmosphere was awesome. I learned a lot from this race and hopefully can improve on the next. 70.3 Ironman Vineman here I come!

  • Comments: Overall Course based on my ability: I wouldn't say it was too hard, but more challenging than I expected for my first Olympic distance race.

  • Comments: New race directors this year with what looks like some positive changes for the future. New RD means well, and seems to be an OK guy, but needs to eat a slice of humble pie and take a chill pill. At the end of the day, its about the athletes who pay the fees to participate. I like this course alot, it is my home course and can be very challenging and always solid competition.
