Comments: Challenging course and beautiful scenery but the organizers completely f*ed up the water station situation. It seemed like Chicago Marathon 2007 revisited. The whole week the weather reports pointed to a hot race day and yet the first aid station wasn't until mile 3 and the second at mile 5.5!!! I started with the 2nd wave and probably was one of the first of that wave to get to the first water station and they were not able to keep up with the number of runners. So a majority of runners after me had to wait in line for water, pour their own or dip their cups into water-filled trash cans! For a race that's been run for 27 years that is really disappointing.
