  • Comments: Comparison Race to 2005 event and was 6 min 20 sec faster this year. I like this race as it has a smaller field but is very competitive with a lot of Army personel from Fort Drum and a couple of people doing the LPIM the following weekend here. The course is challenging for me as not many courses are setup like this in my part of FL.

  • Comments: Event was very well organized. Location is very rural so traffic was low compared to other events I've done. Found that the start date & time was changed from my registration (April) to when I rechecked a week beforehand. Lots of good athletes at this event (nearby army base) and several triathletes were doing this a pre-event for the following weekends Lake Placid Ironman (sick)! This race will become a summer vacation tradition for me.
