  • Comments: Very well done for a sprint tri with pool swim. They could do a better job of organizing the line for the swim, people definitely just went "whenever." And I think they could've briefed volunteers better. I appreciate the volunteers, but a few didn't have a clue what they were doing and actually slowed my progress cause of it. Beautiful area, a few too many turns on the bike, but smooth pavement and no traffic. For a sprint they have a nice tech-shirt and the breakfast post-race was truly nice. I'd say if you want a sprint race in the DFW area, do this one.

  • Comments: Parking was kinda crappy-They could have at least mowed down the 4 foot tall grass but I had a nice spot by the fence up front. The Facilities were absolutely amazing. I took advantage of their 1 month free membership prior to the tri. A++!! Can't seem to reiterate how amazing all of the facilities were...showers, towels, soap, lotions, water and lockers all available inside the facility. Bathroom poolside, and about 8 port-a-potties in the transition area. I will DEFINITLY register again for this wonderful triathalon. I hope they schedule another this fall like Kelly said in the email!!! Please do another one!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comments: Overall I think this is a well-run and fun event. They didn't oversell slots, they had plenty of water, and got through the swim pretty quickly. They had volunteers at every turn on the course (not much chance for anyone to get lost.) I felt this year the race got even better/ was more well-run which I think means they really listen to comments and try and improve. Fun local race and I would do it again. I also like that we got memberships to Cooper as part of the award - that's really nice!

  • Comments: Took 1st place in Clydes 40/up,great race for 1st timers & a family friendly race. Lots of room for the kids to play & real rest rooms in the Cooper facility.

  • Comments: The timing chips were a pain. Felt like I wearing one of those things that calls the police if you leave house arrest. Rubbed a raw spot on my ankle. First time I've ever had that happen.

  • Comments: I definitely enjoyed the Cooper Sprint - great environment, great management, awesome volunteers. They could have posted the results with more updates as they didn't bother to update the results board at the end so some people who came in later didn't get to see their times until the online results were available.
