  • Comments: I;m torn as to whether it was organized or not. The very nature of the race - successfully closing down the only thoroughfare into the Keys - makes it organized. However, the start was odd; there was no warning or anything - just the gun. It would have been good to have somebody give a heads up. The volunteers were amazing. They definitely helped me keep going. They were extremely encouraging. I will keep that in mind the next time I volunteer at a race. The post-race swag was lacking a lot. They had free Gatorade and Propel water and rice(?). What is that? Who gives out rice at a race. Even still, it was an amazing race and I thought it was pretty good.
