  • Comments: It was a lot of fun. My Daughters (6 and 8) finished 1st and 2nd in the kids dash before the race. Greg, from my running group was there and took home a shirt for finishing top three, as did BT'er, Dave Gibb. WRACE events are nice, but are not precisely measured and there is no chip timing. I would have PR'd 5k, if the race had not been 4.8k. Only major criticism was that there were no mileage markers and only one water station. The last WRACE event had 3 stations and a sign at each Km. Also, the cups for water were smaller than the ones at the dentist. I know, it's only 5k, but the times ranged from 18 minutes to well over 40 minutes. More would have been better for many people. I'll be there again though!!!
