  • Comments: Easiest 50k course there is, if you can handle the drudgery of the same loop over and over. Race difficulty comes from the July temps and the midnight start. Volunteers are excellent. I have no idea how they convince so many people to stay up all night and work the aid stations!

  • Comments: This race is what it advertises....night time 50k on an easy course in Ft Worth in July.

  • Comments: The race is set up fine, and run okay...but the aid station spacing could better, a few more potties out there, and one more water station would've been good. Also needed more than just water/HEED at the official aid stations. Bananas, pretzels, something like that would be nice. Also, the thing that royally pissed me off was the nonchalant reception when I finished. Especially when they were giving great effort to everyone else every other time. They need to have crew shifts to show support for all the finishers--25k and 50k.

  • Comments: I'm not sure I would travel a long way to do this race unless there was an important reason you needed a midnight long run in humid conditions, which I did. If you live anywhere near the event though it is well worth the trip.
