  • Comments: Race was a fun event and I'm glad that I participated. Overhearing people who had participated in the past, the swim portion of the race was much more difficult than previous years due to the windy condition. From what I've read about past races it seems to have become more typical of other race instead of a smaller locally geared event. In the past they offered unique awards that were location specific. The clambake was tasty. It would have been nice if there was some shaded seating areas for eating and awards.
